The image starts before the camera.
Trained in advertising design and photography, Pete works across photography, art direction, design, retouching, and production. That range allows an assignment to develop as one visual idea rather than a handoff between disconnected disciplines.
His work is technically exact but always directed toward communication: understanding the brief, finding the memorable idea, and building an image capable of doing a real job. His teaching experience is another part of that practice.
